- Hike and Go Seek – Just a twist on an old game. Don’t just hide and seek close to home, get outdoors and see what you can find there as well.
- Puddle Jump, Climb a Tree, Crawl Along, Walk Backwards – sometimes just being in a space and moving differently can make a real difference in the way you see something. Don’t just walk along, roam through space and see what newness you can find.
- Take Photos – We have a beach coconut series of photos in our household. How many different ways can you photograph the same hing – that you find naturally? Don’t stage them, just capture them.
- Plant some natives, build a pond and turn your garden into a wildlife habitat.
- Volunteer – go help out with Landcare, Friends of Parks, or your local trail maintenance group. They are out there keeping trails clear, be part of the solution.
