King Jarrah Track Lane Pool Reserve, 40 Murray Valley road, dwellingup
The track begins at Nanga Mill, which is 10.5 kilometres from the Lane Poole entry station, along the Murray Valley Road via Bobs Crossing. This class 4 track (18 kilometres return) takes about five hours. King Jarrah Walk Trail follows the river for much of the way and provides access to fabulous jarrah forests. Expect some steep sections on the western side of the trail. The highlight of this walk is the “King Jarrah”, a tree whom’s age is continually disputed, between 250 years and as much as 600 years old.

Please note that this trip is an “Action Outdoors Association” event and, as such, our club rules apply. ie over 18 years only, no pets. it is expected that applicants to this walk will sufficient ability to walk with a day pack through rough terrain for approximately 18 kilometres and to carry sufficient water etc. it is the right of the trip organizer to refuse entry to the walk if they assess them to be of insufficient ability.
No cost associated with this walk but applicants must be prepared to sign our indemnity form.
