Harvey Beach, Direction Way, Fremantle
Day 18: Rocky Bay – Have a swim at Harvey Beach, follow the heritage trail.
Limestone cliffs face grassy areas and naturally vegetated areas; Harvey Beach and a Heritage trail.
Nearby Rocky Bay is regarded as one of only three sites in the City of Fremantle to contain remnant vegetation reminiscent of the years prior to 1829. The Burford Soap Works ran a tunnel – which is still visible – through the cliffs, providing evidence of former occupations and use of the environment.
